What type of things will I be working on?
On this 2-year graduate scheme, starting September 2024, you will undergo 4, 6-month rotations, working in a highly regulated medical device field on a number of different functions. This includes:
- Research, development & clinical trials
- New product design & development
- Medical Product Manufacturing & process improvement
- Customer service and field support
- Quality processes and requirements
- Regulatory & medical standards
You will gain knowledge and experience of a wide range of processes including, analytical research, medical device development, product development requirements, regulatory development requirements, ISO13485 QMS systems, fault finding, risk management, design control, exposure to clinical trials & CAD.

Where will I be working?
This role is based at Charfield Office, near Wotton-under-Edge in Gloucestershire. As Renishaw sites are based in semi-rural locations, applicants must have their own form of transport or be willing to relocate to the local area.
What do I need and how do I apply?
We’re looking for passionate graduates expecting a 2:2 or above (or equivalent) in a relevant medical or technical field such as, Biomedical, Biomechanical, Design, Engineering, Science, Physics and Mathematics.
Training and development is excellent so candidates with no experience but a keen interest in engineering will be strongly considered.
