Renishaw offers exciting opportunities for graduates on their development programmes designed to develop ambitious, talented, and self-motivated individuals into skilled experts in their chosen field.
What Will I Gain From This Graduate Scheme?
This programme will be based on a series of six-month placements where you will work on real projects, aligned to your ambitions and interests, that will deliver tangible results to this global business. By investing in your personal development, we hope to build up and broaden your knowledge and experience to create a confident and skilled professional to prepare you for a meaningful role within one of our product or services divisions.
Graduate Mechanical Engineering Scheme - Manufacturing Services Division
Within this scheme, you will develop your knowledge and the technical skills within high-precision, complex component manufacturing, precision electro, mechanical and optical assembly, digitisation, automation, robotics, and the development of entirely new and innovative solutions to challenges.
This is a very hands on, dynamic role where you will complete rotations in broad areas of engineering such as:
- process improvement
- new product introduction
- project engineering
- supply chain engineering
- operational management.
This scheme provides a route to opportunities within assembly engineering, project engineering, process development engineering (including automation, robotics and mechatronics), subtractive and additive component engineering, supply-chain engineering, and operational management. This is based on skills developed and personal preference.
Where Will I Be Working?
This role is based out of one of our major sites in Gloucestershire (Woodchester, Wotton-under-Edge, or Stonehouse). As Renishaw sites are based in semi-rural locations, it is essential that applicants have their own form of transport or are willing to relocate to the local area.
What Do I Need?
We're looking for passionate engineers and STEM students expecting a 2:1 or above (or equivalent) The training and development is excellent so candidates with no experience but a keen interest in engineering will be strongly considered.
