What Will I Be Doing On The Scheme?
During your two-year programme, you will embark on a series of six-month placements covering a broad range of product areas in Renishaw's product design divisions. Your days will consist of working on numerous, varied projects to enhance your current skills and knowledge, supporting your thirst for knowledge and experience in training & development. You will gain an in-depth understanding of the following concepts:
- System configuration and architecture
- Electronic devices and circuits
- Power devices and design
- Embedded systems
- Conceptual, prototype design and development testing

Promotion in this stream is likely to take you down either a technical route, to Senior then Principal Design Engineer, or to a more managerial position like Technical/ Design Manager.

Where Will I Be Working?
This role is based out of one of our major sites in Gloucestershire (Woodchester, Wotton-under-Edge, or Stonehouse). There may be a requirement to spend time at our site in Miskin, South Wales to give graduates the full experience of this division. As Renishaw sites are based in semi-rural locations, it is essential that applicants have their own form of transport or are willing to relocate to the local area.
What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need?
Graduates applying for this position should have a 2:2 or higher (or equivalent) in a technical discipline – electronic engineering, design, physics, robotics, or other engineering-related field.
