What types of things will I be working on?
Working in the IT and Security Applications department, our Analyst Programmers play a key role in keeping our global commercial systems running smoothly, and helping the business realise the investment in them. This is a varied role requiring the ability to provide fast, and diligent support together with the ability to analyse complex business-related issues providing timely and efficient solutions. Your role could involve, but not be limited to:
- Working alongside the support team to solve the issues that arise in the company.
- Being involved with the coding sub team, developing C# and .NET skills, SQL Server, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, React along with working on cloud-based systems, and designing appropriate coding solutions to business problems
- Analysing business functions and processes to find innovate solutions to issues.
- Developing your IT skills through practical training, with mentors and online training assigned to you to build up your skill set.
The scheme will involve working on live issues and global projects under the mentorship of our experienced Analyst Programmers. As well as gaining hands on experience in your chosen field, you will have the opportunity to connect with people working in the business and discuss your career ambitions and ideas with employees in similar roles.

Where will I be working?
This role is based out of one of our main sites in New Mills, near Wotton-under Edge in Gloucestershire. As Renishaw sites are based in semi-rural locations, applicants must have their own form of transport or be willing to relocate to the local area.
What do I need and how do I apply?
All relevant degree disciplines are welcomed. What is more important is that you have a passion for Business IT and analytics, with the motivation to progress into a varied role and play a key part in supporting the commercial systems of the business.
Training and development is excellent so candidates with no experience but a keen interest in engineering will be strongly considered.
