Hoist Finance is looking for an ambitous, self-motivated and collaborate Investment Analyst. The role will have a focus on deals in the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain & Greece and aims to strengthen Hoist's Group Investment Team.
The UK, Germany, France, Italy & Spain are key markets for Hoist Finance and we are one of the largest purchasers of unsecured consumer debt and are actively building out our Analyst Group function to cater for these markets.
The Group Investment Team is a team of Investment Professionals working across the Group on all investments that are made by Hoist Finance. Hoist has a commitment to nurture and develop new analysts with a clear route for career progression and the development of professional skills.

The role
The Investment Analyst will primarily be responsible for the valuation of investment opportunities across the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain & Greece.
Main areas of responsibility
The role will be at the heart of our investment process in Manchester or London.
- Valuation and analysis of non-performing, performing and secured loan portfolios.
- Building a deep understanding of portfolios up for sale.
- Preparing Investment cases and presenting to the Hoist Investment Committee.
- Reviewing portfolio performance and contributing in operational improvements via data analytics.
- Conducting market research.

- English Language proficiency (other European languages an advantage)
- Strong team player
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Software experience an advantage (Alteryx, SQL, R, Tableau)
- Ability to travel when required
