Graduate Geotechnical Engineer

An international firm of consulting engineers for civil and structural projects. With offices in 12 different locations, this company has been involved in some of the world's biggest civil, structural, geotechnical, energy and water based projects. Emphasis is placed upon training and developing staff to reach Chartered status.

This Geotechnical team offer the opportunity to be involved in a huge range of project areas - highway, tunnel, stations, marine, wind farms and more.

They are experiencing huge growth in the rail sector and now need a graduate on board to strengthen their Geotechnical design team to:

- Manage Geotechnical designs against set industry standards and time scales
- Inspect Construction works match up to design specifications
- Assist with tenders and contracts
- Work closely with a Project Manager, clients and other parties

In return for your hard work you will:

- Be offered ICE approved training and work towards Chartership
- Involve yourself in CPD throughout the year
- Have regular peer review meetings to discuss progression and performance

Essential Skills:

- Have achieved or working towards a 2:1 or 1st class MEng or Msc in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or closely related
- Industry experience is desirable but not essential
- Enthusiastic and driven personality, may be demonstrated through interesting extra-curricular, work experience or other interests
