Graduate Events Producer (Tech Sector) - Central London - January Starts - Hybrid Working - £25-30K + bonus
This opportunity is suitable for candidates who are looking for the first step in their events career, as this company are looking for somebody to manage and support a new events launch alongside their current portfolios.
You will also be responsible for managing the portfolios for two divisions of the business, so the ability to manage your time and resources is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research: Conducting research into market trends in the technology industry through desk-based research methods
- Networking: Reaching out to senior stakeholders and investors within the industry over the phone to build commercial relationships and invite them as speakers to the event
- Project Management: Overseeing the processes that puts the event together in terms of the intellectual content and coming up with new, innovative ideas to improve the events topics
- Teamwork: Working with the operations team, marketing team and sales team to ensure the event is up to standard
- Travel: Once you've put the event together, you get to attend! How does travelling to North America, Europe, and Asia sound?
The salary on offer starts at £25K depending on transferable experience and there is also an excellent bonus structure depending on the success of the events!
Requirements:
- A 2:1 or above (or equivalent) in a relevant degree subject, such as history, politics, english, or business
- Ideally, candidates will have some transferable experience in one of the following: market research, sales, recruitment, project management, or events. This can be through work experience, a placement year, extracurriculars, or volunteering
