Graduate Events Producer - Life Science

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing conference and events company that works across multiple industries on a global scale.

They are a graduate-friendly business and are now looking for a commercial graduate to join their Life Science team as an events producer - could you be who they are looking for?

Graduate Events Producer - London - ASAP - £25-28K + bonus

Please note that this is not an events management role.

An events producer is responsible for the market research and written content that goes into building corporate networking events. This is done through a mixture of desk-based and phone-based research, to uncover market trends and key information about a particular industry - in this case, the life science industry. They need to become industry experts for each event to come up with key topics, themes, and events speakers.

• Variety: Working on a variety of events in your first year, working across the legal industry
• Project Management: Balancing your time between researching market trends, liaising with key external stakeholders, and putting the research together in a creative format
• Communications: Networking with senior executives and building commercial relationships
• Topics: You could be researching topics such as drug development, manufacturing of drugs, cell therapy, microbiology, and more!
• Travel: Once you have put the events together, you get to go! This company holds their events across the UK, Europe, and North America
• Flexibility: They are currently working to a hybrid pattern, with two days in the office and the rest working from home

Requirements:

• A 2:1 or above (or equivalent) from a top university, with a degree subject from a life science background
• No work experience is necessary, however any work experience or extracurriculars in market research, sales, or events would be strongly beneficial for your application
