The Role
This is a two year rotational programme designed to give you plenty of commercial experience and technical challenges. This company have a huge emphasis on personal development and chartership for all of their engineers.
You will spend time in as many functions and projects as possible and will be given a great amount of responsibility. The rotations will vary between internal departments and external placements and include fleet engineering, projects teams, development engineering and more.
The company work very closely with large rail providers to improve the efficiency of vehicles and using skills from the basic laws of physics and mechanics to complex theory, they can often achieve huge results from innovative ideas. You will be identifying problems, generating ideas and then developing improvements to increase performance, reliability and longevity of trains.
Through face to face client interaction, you will be helping run the UK's railways, working with clients like South West Trains and Virgin.

Requirements:
- 2:1 minimum master's level degree in mechanical or electrical and electronic engineering
- Great communication skills
- Demonstrable leadership skills
- Excellent problem solving abilities
- You will be naturally curious and have innovative ideas
- Engineering industry experience
