**The Role**
You will join as a Data Practitioner and work directly with the Chief Data Officer and help shape all Data activity within the business and for Client projects. As the firm is still in its infancy initially you must be willing to work on all types of Data projects, including but not limited to Data Analytics, Data Science. Data Engineering, Data management and Software engineering. In time you will start to take ownership of one or more areas and specialise accordingly.
**Potential Projects and Activities**
- The design, development and testing of data-first services
- Support the development of new client-facing analytics
- Design and develop proof of concept projects, including AI
- Support the development of data science-based forecasting and prediction services
**What you can expect:**
- Work directly with the CDO and help shape the business unit going forward
- Exposure to a wide range of projects, both data and technical
- Training on a wide variety of data tools and platforms, and the chance to explore new tools and services in the Data space
**What we are looking for**
We are looking to speak with people who have good knowledge of Python programming, including libraries such as Pandas, Numpy and similar. Knowledge of SQL will be advantageous, as will demonstrable exposure to other data tools. In addition, you should:
- Have studied either Computer Science, Maths, Stats or similar to degree level (or equivalent)
- Be motivated to work in a small collaborative team
- Possess strong written and Oral communication skills
- Be interested in learning more about the treasury space
- Enjoy problem solving and be naturally analytical
- Be available to work full-time from June onward
