Business Development Associate - Climate Sector

This fast growing sustainable energy business supply and consult businesses on their energy usage to become carbon neutral. 

Business Development Associate:

This is an exciting new role in the business and within the role you will be working with the voluntary carbon business development team and supporting with strategic expansion plans. 

This role is fantastic for someone looking to combine their sales skills with qualitative and quantitative skills. 

Key Responsibilities Include: 

• Reaching out to prospective clients
• Setting meetings with prospective clients and pitching the services
• Market research tasks in different geographies, identifying climate reporting mandates 
• Working towards sales KPI's
• Salary £35-40K 
• Hybrid working- at least 2 days in the London office

What Are We Looking For:

• 2:1 or above (or equivalent) in your chosen subject
• A desire to work within the climate/ voluntary carbon sector
• 1 year of experience working in a commercial setting and with clients is desired (this can be in sales, recruitment, account management, customer success or something similar)
• Evidence of previously using quantitative and qualitative skills
