My client is a leader in global food ingredients and flavours markets, and a leading branded consumer foods processing and marketing organisation in selected EU markets.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to join a well known company as a Purchasing Graduate. You will work alongside the Purchasing Director managing a portfolio of ingredients purchases for the emerging markets business.
Responsibilities:
- Producing market analysis reports
- Information gathering and reporting
- Supplier meetings and relationship management
- Tendering for supplier contracts
- Negotiation with suppliers
- Flexible approach to ensure all business requirements are met
Requirements:
- Ideally experience within a business related environment
- Commercially aware
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to quickly build rapport
- Educated to Degree level
- Fluency in a second language would be an advantage; ideally Spanish, Russian, Chinese or Arabic
- Highly organised with exceptional time management skills
- Driving license is advantageous
- Excellent MS Office skills
