One in five graduates struggle to find work when they leave university, it has been revealed.

One in five graduates struggle to find work when they leave university, it has been revealed. Figures published by the Office for National Statistics show that levels of graduate unemployment have increased almost two fold since the beginning of the economic downturn. It was revealed that unemployment for school leavers aged 16 and 17 also remains "historically high", with 44.3 per cent of young people in this age bracket unable to secure work.
