Owners of small businesses in Norfolk claim to be desperately seeking highly motivated, performance-driven high-calibre staff to work for them, but are unable to fill the vacancies. The buzzing entrepreneurs say top staff go and work for the big names like IBM, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Accenture and BT rather than looking for jobs in the small and medium enterprise (SME) sector.
