...and kiss their hand in gratitude for imparting such wisdom upon you.
3. Be prepared for everything...
"When I get a response to my job application"
...And never leave your phone's side. And check your emails every five seconds.
4. Believe everything that an employer says...
"When an employer that denied you after a 2 month process says "stay in touch""
...down to every single word/metaphor/cliché
5. This is completely and utterly fine:
"When entry level jobs require 3 to 5 years of experience"
