Not tempted by the bright lights of London? Looking to work in Reading but don't want to sacrifice career progression and money?

This is a great opportunity to live in Reading but work for a global, market leading consultancy with extensive opportunities and exceptional training. All Trainee Consultants are paid an above average basic of £20k and 80% of trainees will earn in excess of £30k in their first year increasing to £40k+ in year two.

Why Recruitment?
A Graduate career in Recruitment offers unparalleled opportunities for progression, training and money. The skills that you will learn will be invaluable for your future including:

- Confidence to talk with senior level managers
- Knowledge and understanding of the business world
- Giving a top class interview
- Approaching a business and selling yourself as a professional

You will also work in an electric work environment that rewards success financially and actively encourages progression into senior level roles.

What is Recruitment?
A successful Recruitment Consultant will build and develop a large network of relationships with both clients and candidates in order to become a specialist in your field. Your day is incredibly varied and will encompass skills in sales, marketing, advertising and PR. It is important to be creative and progressive when you develop and build your desk and constantly think of new ways to attract great candidates.

- Business development
- Marketing candidates to clients
- Selling yourself as a professional to clients and candidates
- Advertising your roles to attract candidates
- Building a great reputation for yourself in your market

What will I earn?
A role in recruitment will never be 9-5 but that is why the financial rewards are so high. As a trainee you will receive excellent training from the ground upwards encompassing all elements of the role. Your basic salary will be between £17-18k upwards with commission paid on top.

The role is mainly telephone based, so you will be a confident and talented communicator with the ability to engage and influence people. In recruitment, more people tell you no than yes so resilience is crucial.

The company is particularly interested in candidates who have experience in telesales, medical sales or IT sales.
