Match Day Steward at Lords Cricket ground!

The MCC are looking for bright, enthusiastic people to join our stewarding and customer care team for the 2015 Season. The MCC’s aim is to provide spectators with an unrivalled experience in a safe and secure environment during the 2015 cricket season, May – September.

There are a variety of temporary stewarding positions available within the Ground:

Stand Stewards are involved in providing information, customer service and monitoring health and safety in our public viewing areas.

Turnstile Stewards and ticket sellers are an extremely important part of our service as they are the first point of contact for Members and patrons on arrival to the Ground. A Turnstile Steward’s main responsibilities are the control of both entry and exit from the Ground.

Search Stewards will undertake routine searches of patrons entering the Ground. This can be a challenging position so Search Stewards will therefore receive a higher pay rate than a first-year Stand Steward.

We also require stewards to look after our hospitality facilities such as private boxes and exclusive debenture areas to ensure that guests enjoy our fabulous facilities.

Interested applicants must be physically fit and be over the age of eighteen. You must also be in possession of a valid visa or working permit for the UK.

This is a temporary position and successful applicants will only be required on match days.

Full training will be given.
