Horror fans rejoice as the award winning and terrifying annual horror event Fright Nights return to THORPE PARK Resort for its 14th year of fear! Experience live action entertainment like no other as we once again team up with Lionsgate UK, the best minds in horror to bring some of their finest movies to life. Not to mention experiencing some of our world class rides in the dark such as the UK’s first winged rollercoaster THE SWARM, Stealth, one of Europe’s fastest and tallest roller coasters, and inversion coasters Colossus and Nemesis Inferno.

About the role

Fright Nights is set to once again become the premier Halloween destination this year and were looking for scare actors to perform inside our terrifying live action horror mazes and around our Park to make THORPE PARK the truly scariest place to be this October. From subjecting our guests to total torture in SAW Alive, to bringing them face to face with their worst nightmares in Cabin in The Woods or making them run scared from My Bloody Valentine or The Blair Witch Project, this is truly a role not for the faint hearted. Contracts for this role are due to begin in September for rehearsals with Fright Nights running on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 7th October and then full time over half term from 23rd October – 1st November, so you’ll need to be available for all of these dates.

Please note that if successful in your application auditions will be held on selected dates throughout July, August and September.

About you

We’re looking for people with loads of energy, plenty of enthusiasm and, ideally, a background in psychical theatre, experience in physical performance and/or a BTEC in Drama or Performing Arts. And the more you know about improvisation techniques, the better. We are looking for strong individuals willing to work in extremely physically and mentally demanding environments helping us push the boundaries to achieve the ultimate scares.

Due to the nature of these roles applicants must be 18 or over and have full availability for the whole duration of the contract, this role will require you to work evenings, weekends and extremely late nights, therefore you will need to be able to organise your transport home as public transport does not serve THORPE PARK Resort at these times.
