About the scheme
If you’re nearing the end of your degree and considering a career in transport and logistics, our Transport Hub (THub) Placement could be for you. This year long placement offers a unique insight into managing transport at the world’s largest food and drink manufacturer, helping you develop world-class skills in problem solving and negotiation, while building meaningful relationships - all before you’ve even finished university.
What can I expect?
Supported by expert mentors, you’ll negotiate with suppliers, manage day-to-day transport operations, and create solutions to meet transport deadlines. You’ll also learn how Brexit impacts our operations and how we navigate challenges such as wars and pandemics. As much as you’ll be here to learn and grow, you’ll also make real decisions that contribute to shaping the future of the Transport Hub.
Career Progression
This is a unique opportunity to gain exclusive insight into the workings of our Transport Hub. You’ll also be in a prime position to build professional connections that will help you develop a future at Nestlé.
“The THUB Placement is a rewarding opportunity to explore different aspects of transportation as well as engage in meaningful projects. From the start, I have felt empowered, with my opinions being valued and my contributions making a real impact. It has also allowed me to build a professional network across diverse markets within a global company, making it an exciting stepping stone for my career”.
