The Role:

Our scheme offers all our graduates a unique opportunity to gain invaluable insights into the inner workings of a thriving online retail business, including Marketing, Finance, Buying and Logistics.

• Marketing – Learn how a high performance acquisition marketing team finds the best new members for the site using paid search and other similar channels. Support in building and optimising performance marketing campaigns whilst analysing campaign data.
• Finance – Understand how money works in an online retail business. Ensure suppliers get paid the right amount on time, help us stay compliant with our international and domestic reporting requirements and support the business in making great strategic and operational decisions.
• Buying – Learn how to present the SportPursuit brand to exciting new brands. From sourcing brands to negotiating cost prices, you will perform an active role in the buying team which delivers 100s of exciting exclusive deals each month.
• Logistics - Responsible for one of the most critical parts of the business: ensuring our customers get the right products and quickly. You will be central to the partnership between SportPursuit and our warehouses, ensuring potential problems are anticipated, solutions are implemented ahead of time and issues are spotted and solved quickly.

What Are We Looking For?

• A 2:1 or above (or equivalent)
• High attention to detail, finding satisfaction in getting things “right”
• Commercial thinking
• Experience of using Microsoft Excel (we’ll test you in a selection of SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, String formulae, VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH. If you don’t know how to do these now, there are some great excel tutorials online)

What’s The Application Process?

Moving forward, the selection process will involve several stages, including a psychometric test, a video interview, an Excel test and some additional assessments at an in person assessment day on the 23rd July.
