Our client is an independent consultancy who have developed a new iPaaS platform that is currently on the market. They are seeking a passionate and driven BDM to develop this product to take it to the next level. You will have access to a warm contact list, existing clients as well as an untapped market potential. You will be developing leads across the UK, EU and the US.
Business Development Manager:
- Researching and generating new leads in the Private Capital Markets industry
- Qualifying and progressing to timely prospects
- Creating and updating sales pipeline
- Liaising with team members to progress sales process including demonstration of the product
- Leading and compiling sales proposals
- Collaborating with relevant teams where wider project possibilities identified
- Weekly reporting to Senior Leadership on the current pipeline and progress of all prospects
- Liaising with project team on contract signature
- Active event and networking attendance
- Assisting with the planning of our client/prospect events
- Attending client visits across Europe and US
Requirements:
- Commercial experience as a BDM in the SaaS sector (must have experience closing)
- Experience of working in, and selling to, the financial services sector
- Exposure to CRM software platforms
- Proven track record of over-target performance
- Ability to pitch to senior stakeholders
