Roxel (in partnership with Safran) - Graduate IT Scheme

Safran is excited to launch its 2024 Graduate scheme in partnership with Roxel. Roxel is an Anglo-French Company that designs, develops, and manufactures a range of solid propellant rocket motors for use in tactical missiles used by the Defence industry.

Its operations are spread across several sites in the UK and France, and it has an annual turnover of about £100M and 800 staff. The main UK operations are located at Summerfield near Kidderminster in the West Midlands.

What will I be doing on this graduate programme?

Within Roxel’s IT department, your role will consist of a mix of day-to-day tasks and projects. Working alongside the IT analyst and IT manager, you’ll receive hands-on training and support whilst learning a range of skills. During your time on this graduate programme, your role will include but not be limited to:

• Day-to-day tasks such as setting up new users, moving desks, installing equipment etc.
• Working with databases such as SQL and looking into RP System
• Looking into projects that will grow the Microsoft 365 environment.
• Join ongoing projects of implementing a new ERP system

What skills do I need?

• A 2.1 or above (or equivalent) in an IT-related subject
