Roxel (in partnership with Safran) - Graduate Health and Safety Scheme

Safran is excited to launch its 2024 Graduate scheme in partnership with Roxel. Roxel is an Anglo-French Company that designs, develops, and manufactures a range of solid propellant rocket motors for use in tactical missiles used by the Defence industry.

Its operations are spread across several sites in the UK and France, and it has an annual turnover of about £100M and 800 staff. The main UK operations are located at Summerfield near Kidderminster in the West Midlands.

What will I be doing on this graduate programme?

During your graduate programme, you will be split into two different functions within the occupational team and the process safety team. Your role will be a mix of day-to-day activities including reacting to queries and support, plus being involved in wider projects. You’ll have the chance to work with different teams and deliver on key objectives of their projects.

You will gain skills in:

• Stakeholder management.
• Being a business partner and get people involved in safety from beginning of projects.
• Relationship building.
• Documentation.
• Technical writing development.

What skills do I need?

• A 2.1 or above (or equivalent) in a STEM subject such as Chemistry, Material science or Chemical Engineering
