Rathbones Group Plc are looking to recruit talented Graduates for our Academy, which is the bedrock of our emerging talent programmes. We have an established Academy where you will gain invaluable experience through our formal rotational programme which offers hands-on experience across our Investment Management business areas.
What will you be doing?
During your 2-year rotational programme you will develop essential theoretical and practical skills, having the opportunity to work across key business areas such as Investment Management, Financial Planning, Investment Risk and Research. During this time, you will also receive comprehensive training and support with the following:
- Qualification - CISI Investment Advice Diploma
- Qualification - Chartered Wealth Manager or Chartered Financial Analyst
- Established mentorship scheme
- Graduate and emerging talent community including a buddy system
At Rathbones we have a structured investment management career path, at the end of your programme you will be able to apply for the Assistant Investment Manager role. You will then work within one of our investment management teams and support investment managers and directors with investment portfolios and managing client relationships.

Who are we looking for?
We want all our graduates to be challenging, curious and motivated to make a difference. Successful candidates will have commercial acumen, be comfortable with change, display creativity, show drive and excel at solving problems and building relationships
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Committed and motivated to study for the Investment Advice Diploma (IAD) and Level 7 qualifications in Chartered Wealth Manager (CWM) or Chartered Financial Analyst
- Must have achieved or be on course for at least a 2:1 honours degree in any discipline
- An interest in financial services and investment management
- Strong analytical and systems skills
