Description
At Product Marketing Alliance, creating value for our community members through peer-to-peer networking, educational programs, small member councils, and exclusive members-only events is what we're all about, and it's a key driver of our incredible growth.
Ensuring the seamless delivery of our programs globally, while providing a member experience that is second to none is no easy task. There are many moving parts, and we're looking for someone to help keep them in sync.
The Role
- Working in the backend of our course platform (Teachable) and broader tech stack to build out new courses, events, and registration pages
- Maintaining the day-to-day running of our OnDemand and live + online courses ensuring students receive a seamless experience from start to finish and have everything they need to attend the session and get the most out of their experience
- All course and event communications. From emailing students ahead of upcoming live + online courses to post event feedback
- Briefing and supporting our instructors and speakers before, during and after each digital courseevent
- Being present during the event to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Proactively sourcing feedback and testimonials from students and members and cross-selling other products where relevant
- Mapping out our live + online (and eventually in-person!) course calendar and coordinating new dates with our instructors, the marketing and customer success teams
- Working with product and events teams to support the rollout of new members-only event calendars, including locking in speakers and instructors, coordinating with customer success, marketing, and content to promote and drive attendance
Benefits
- Annual Salary: £21,000
- Flexible hours and early summer finishes
- Extra day off on your birthday
- Sociable and supportive team (and an office dog)
- New tech gear: laptop, screen, mouse, keyboard. We've got you covered.
- Free coffee and tea, snacks, fruit, and treats
- A unique opportunity to join a fast-growth scale-up, unparalleled learning opportunities, with excellent opportunities for progression into our events or customer success teams
Requirements
- Highly organised - you'll be juggling several ongoing projects week in, week out. With each connected to paying customers, mishaps just can't happen. You'll need to own your own workload and be confident holding other people accountable to their deadlines
- Strong communicator - from your colleagues to customers to our instructors, you'll be working very closely with lots of people
- Team player - success doesn't happen in a vacuum, we need everyone in the org to be rallied around the same goals and helping each other out to achieve them
- Agile - buzzword, we know, but being a startup, things move quickly. You'll be thrown last minute curveballs. We enjoy it. We need you to, too
- Tech-savvy - we lean on lots of different apps and while we'll obviously onboard you on each, we're looking for a quick learner who can show us a thing or two, too! You are confident using digital platforms including Zoom
- Creative problem-solver - we know things don't always run without a hitch, and processes can be improved. We're looking for someone who can think on their feet, solve problems, and identify opportunities
