OWS Fire Rated - Graduate Designer and CAD Technician

OWS Fire Rated is a leading manufacturer and installer of fire rated glazing products; windows, doors and curtain walling. We work with a varied client base, including main contractors, glazing contractors, interior fit-out companies and local authorities.

This role is a permanent office based role based in Lingfield, Surrey and due to location candidates will need to drive or have other frequent means of transport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Design Manager as required for current design projects and in-house product development.
• Produce Project design fabrication drawings using AutoCAD Revit.
• Create and submit project-specific technical submissions as required.
• Manage and develop the existing standard design drawing library as required.
• Support other departments in the business, such as estimating and order processing where required, full training will be provided to help support this.
• Develop skills and knowledge in 3D CAD - Solid works Inventor

What are we looking for?

• A recent graduate who has a relevant qualification in a technical subject; Product Design, Architecture or a Construction-related subject.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D, Autodesk Revit, 3D CAD, Solid works
• Live within a commutable distance of Lingfield, Surrey or be willing to relocate to the local area.
