Lucozade Graduate Sports Scientist

LUCOZADE SPORT IS RECRUITING SPORTS SCIENTISTS TO WORK ON AN EXCITING SAMPLING CAMPAIGN WHICH WILL BE TAKING PLACE UNTIL MID-DECEMBER 2015 TO DELIVER ENGAGING EDUCATIONAL PRODUCT MESSAGES ON EFFECTIVE HYDRATION AND NUTRITION FOR SPORT.

SHOULD I APPLY? 

We are looking for people with the ability to translate science into a language understood by consumers from a range of sports and abilities, so they understand the relevance to them and their needs. If you can show us that you have a good grasp of the physiological and nutritional demands facing sport and exercise participants across our key sports of running, football and rugby, then keep reading. If you have the ability to apply this knowledge, to be able to give advice on strategies and techniques that are easy to understand be empathetic, credible and realistic, then this role will suit you. Being well-presented and having great communication skills is a must for this role, and you should be able to use these skills to motivate and influence people to have a positive impact on their sporting performance.

WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED? 

A BSc or higher qualification in Sport Science, Nutrition or a related area. It is also essential that you have experience providing applied sport science and nutrition support to athletes, ideally across a range of sports from amateur to elite

ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW? 

We want our ambassadors and employees to believe in our products as much as we do! This means you should be committed to working on behalf of Lucozade for the duration of your relationship with us, and avoid being directly or indirectly employed by any of our competitors.

The campaign will be running until mid-December and we would need you to commit to working five days a week Monday to Thursday with a event on either a Saturday or Sunday. You would be required to work around 4-6 hours per day, you would also be paid for up to two hours travel time per day. You will also require a clean UK driving licence.You will be paid a highly competitive daily rate for your time and all Sports Scientists will receive a full set of branded sports kit for the campaign. You would be working in a team of two with a fellow Lucozade Sport Scientist each day.

The North (Manchester, Liverpool etc), The Midlands/M1 Corridor (Sheffield, Northampton, Birmingham), Scotland (Glasgow, Edinburgh)
