Hunt & Palmer, one of the world's leading aircraft charter organisations, is seeking to recruit a number of trainee Charter Brokers to join our established team of aviation professionals at our head office in Crawley, West Sussex.

The challenges of arranging the exclusive ad-hoc hire of private aircraft throughout the world are high, and to succeed you must be able to perform your duties to an exceptional standard in demanding circumstances.

What the job involves:

• Building relationships, selling, negotiating, and communicating with clients, airlines, and airports
• Travel in the UK and overseas
• Full-time office-based position
• This is not an average 9-5 job so you may need to be prepared to work outside of normal hours when required

Requirements:

• A high standard of numeracy, written and spoken English
• IT literacy
• Excellent attention to detail
• Problem-solving and commercial flair
• Good telephone manner is essential as you are working with airlines and clients from around the world
• Valid passport
• Fluency or literacy in a second European language could be an advantage, as would a genuine interest in civil aviation.
• Previous experience of working in an aviation or travel environment may also be useful but is not essential, as we will provide you with full training.
