Job Title: Graduate Trainee Chartered Accountant - Buckinghamshire  

Graduate Trainee Chartered Accountant - £22 - £24.5K plus full ACA study support

GRB are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Trainee Chartered Accountant to join a growing chartered accountancy based in Buckinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in accounting and financial management within a dynamic, supportive and varied working environment.

What could you be doing as a trainee accountant?

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Perform reconciliations of accounts, including bank statements, receivables, and payables.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Work closely with senior accountants to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Participate in audits and assist in the preparation of audit documentation.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Support in the processing of invoices, expense claims, and payroll.

What do you need?

• Ideally a 2:1 or above (or equivalent) in your chosen discipline
• Accounting and non-accounting-related degree subjects welcome
• Those without an accounting degree ideally need a C or above in Maths A Level
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Confidence in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to pursue professional accounting qualifications
• Already be based in the Buckinghamshire area
