Graduate Trainee Accountant

As a Graduate Trainee Accountant, you will gain hands-on experience in various accounting functions, developing the skills needed for a highly successful career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing financial statements
• Perform reconciliations of bank statements
• Support budget preparation and financial analysis
• Aid in audits by providing documentation and support
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Work with accounting software to process transactions and maintain records

What Do You Need?

• Recent graduate with ideally a 2:1 or above (or equivalent)
• Evidence of drive and ambition
• A strong interest in a career in accounting
• Eagerness to learn and develop professionally with a further qualification e.g. AAT/ACA/ACCA
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Based around the South Somerset area or looking to relocate
