The Company
This international technical consulting firm advise clients on a wide variety of IT and cyber-related projects.
The Role
This rotational graduate programme is for recent graduates looking to start work in the summer or autumn of 2022. The role is an opportunity to train with a large international technology advisory company. You will work in at least two rotations during your first 12 months with the company before becoming a qualified consultant.
Training will be provided on-the-job by senior consultants and you will be assigned a career development manager to help you grow and progress through the ranks. There is a well-defined progression path at the company, with accompanying salary milestones for each grade in your journey as a consultant.
You could work in any of the following rotations, which will last around 3-6 months each: cybersecurity, smart networks, technical debt, cloud, Agile, operational resilience, strategic sourcing. In addition, there may be opportunities to support the business development team with reporting and pitching services to new clients.
You Will
- Attend client meetings and run workshops for clients
- Carry out research on a wide variety of IT-related issues
- Analyse data using Excel
- Design and deliver presentations to clients
- Advise clients on the best course of action based on your findings
- Travel to client-site, in the UK and potentially overseas (subject to lockdown restrictions of course)
You will take early responsibility and gain exposure to key clients early in your career.
Requirements
- 2:1 or equivalent is preferred in science, maths, business management, IT, economics, management, engineering or related
- Work experience in the form of internships or a placement year is preferred
- A demonstrable interest in technology
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong Excel skills are preferred
