Graduate Software Engineer

This established company produces software for a wide variety of public services organisations and government authorities throughout the UK.

You'll work closely with the Software Engineering and QA teams, carrying out full stack development, mainly with Microsoft technologies. The software is used by public service organisations across the UK to manage high volumes of data.

You will learn from experts in their field with additional support from a personal mentor. You have opportunities to progress quickly but at your own pace, to take early responsibility and to undertake qualifications that you think will help your career. The company has an Agile method of working so you will attend daily stand up meetings and allocate tasks as required between team members.

The role will suit a graduate of computer science, or another STEM degree, provided you have demonstrable OOP experience e.g. via personal projects or work experience.

You will develop software with C#, ASP.Net, SQL and other Microsoft technologies, as well as Angular for the front end.

• 2:1 (or equivalent) in computer science, maths, physics, engineering or related
• Excellent A-Levels or equivalent qualifications
• Eager to work as part of a team
• Strong knowledge of object oriented programming and a desire for a technical career
• Problem solving and analytical skills
