Graduate Software Engineer

My client is a market leading software house developing cutting edge software solutions for the retail industry. They are a leader in their field and their software is used by well known high street retailers.

Description:

Based in the outskirts of London this role is offered with a compulsory 2x days a week in office. The rest can be WFH or office, its up to you. 

The company is looking to recruit a graduate software engineer to join their highly skilled Scrum development team. 

You will be working with them to develop, test, and support their new and existing software products.

Duties to Include:

• Developing high quality Java code
• Getting involved in design discussions about system architecture and OO design
• Taking part in Scrum meetings
• Providing technical support for existing products
• Attending client sites where needed to resolve critical issues

Skills Needed:

• 2.2 or above (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
• Java software engineering with ability to create high quality code 
• Understanding of J2EE, Spring, Android, JavaScript, React, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
•  Highly motivated and organised
