Graduate Software Developer

This medium-sized, fast-growing software house has won several industry awards. The company has offices in the UK, Europe, Canada and the US and has increased revenues year on year at an excellent rate. They recently received significant investment and they are looking to continue hiring graduates into various roles throughout the business.

The Role

This is an opportunity for graduates to be trained as software developers within one of two development teams that are currently hiring. The company offers a structured support and training programme, coupled with early responsibility for recent graduates.

They are seeking graduates who love tech and want to develop a wide variety of skills. There are two slightly different graduate developer positions, for graduates wanting to work in a fast-paced environment with cutting edge technologies.

Training is provided by pair programming on the specific technologies, with a focus on C# .Net. You do not need previous experience with C# particular languages, but knowledge of OOP is necessary.

You will work directly with other developers, QA test engineers, support analysts and technical business analysts on a wide variety of projects.

Responsibilities

• Developing software with a wide variety of technologies.
• Creating new features and updating existing features.
• Fixing bugs.
• Interacting with teams internally in the business.

You will need

• A 2.1 equivalent or above in computer science, software engineering or a related degree.
• A-Levels (or equivalent qualifications) at ABB minimum with an A in Maths. Extenuating circumstances will be considered.
• Great problem-solving ability.
• Desire to work as a software developer.
