Graduate Software Developer

This medium-sized, fast-growing software house has won several industry awards. The company has offices in the UK and Europe and has increased revenues year-on-year at an excellent rate. They recently received significant investment and they are looking to continue hiring graduates into various roles throughout the business.

Joining this firm as a software developer in their integration team you will be: 

• Supporting the client's .NET, Java and webMethods platforms for integration to local and remote systems
• Working with C#, .NET, webMethods Flow, Java, XML and SQL on a regular basis
• Working with XSLT, Python and Oracle PL/SQL on a frequent basis
• Building new functionality into the platforms
• Implementing change requests on existing integrations
• Supporting Business Analysts providing feedback on technical requirements and requests

Essential:

• Achieved a 2:1 or above in a STEM subject
• Excellent A-levels, AAB minimum including an A in Maths ideally (or equivalent)
• Demonstrable passion for programming and experience working with an object-orientated programming language such as, C#, Java, C++, or Python
• An aptitude for applying technology and structured problem solving
• Logical, well organised and practical
• Eager to take on responsibility and the ability to learn new skills quickly
• The ability to work well as part of a team, seamlessly collaborating with others
