Graduate Renewable Energy Market Research Role

The renewable energy industry continues to expand rapidly. The Analyst will be working on reports within the power and energy sector. This is an exciting and technically challenging area of the business.

This role is ideally suited to an environmental, science or related graduate with an interest renewable energy, or a science graduate who wants to learn more about business. This is a commercial role which will allow you, after training, to manage a research project from start to finish.

You will be producing specialist market reports and your tasks will include:

-Drafting the report proposal
-Conducting extensive primary and secondary research
-Forecasting
-Report writing
-Marketing and sales, including design of marketing strategies and generation of sales opportunities.

You will need to have:

-A minimum 2:1 degree in an environmental, engineering or science subject, with a desire to apply your technical knowledge or interest in a commercial environment
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Highly numerate and comfortable manipulating and presenting statistics in a variety of formats
-Advanced Excel skills with experience of producing spreadsheets, graphs and tables
-Open to worldwide travel
-Strong problem solving skills
-Enthusiasm, determination and an ability to work efficiently with limited supervision.
