Graduate Events Producer - Central London - July starts - £30K + bonus
Please note this is not an events management position. A Conference Producer is responsible for the intellectual content that goes into building corporate networking events. This is done via a combination of desk-based and phone-based market research into hot industry topics - in this case, the life science industry - and about building relationships with key industry stakeholders to then create engaging content for the event.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conducting market research into life science topics to understand what people in the industry are talking about and what could build the foundations of the event in terms of topics and themes
- Networking: Building business relationships with key members of the industry, to pick their brains as well as inviting them to speak at the event
- Content Management: Creating engaging conference agendas (like an itinerary) to organise the format of the day and the speakers you have invited
So why should you apply?
- Work Environment: Fast-paced and sociable, you'll be a part of a dynamic team!
- Growth: This is an exciting time to join the business as they expand their events portfolio as well as their headcount!
- Flexibility: Hybrid working opportunities with 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home
- Travel: You get to travel to each event you work on! How does travelling to North America and Europe sound?
Requirements:
- A 2:2 or above (or equivalent) in a degree in Life Science or related
- Any relevant experience in a commercial environment would be beneficial for your application - e.g. recruitment, market research, sales, events management, or admin
