Graduate Commercial Finance scheme

My client is one of the largest food manufacturers in the UK. Their product portfolio includes some of the best known brands across a range of sectors including frozen foods, desserts, spreads and cooking sauces.

FMCG Commercial Financial Scheme:

This 3-year programme is designed to give you broad commercial exposure and impactful experience across a wide variety of internal finance functions in a UK food manufacturing business. You will start in August 2024 and by the end of the scheme you will have an opportunity to move into a permanent position within a commercial finance function, such as manufacturing finance or customer finance, or you could work as a finance business partner to a commercial function.

You will spend 9 months to a year in each business unit and you may be based in different areas of the UK, so you must be geographically mobile

• Impact: Each placement will be an impactful role, providing you with real responsibility from day one
• Training: Full on-the-job and classroom training, including 11 days of learning and development workshops as well as a mentor and manager and the chance to study for CIMA or ACCA
• Salary: £30K which you can expect to increase throughout the course of the scheme. You will also receive a relocation allowance for when you may need to work in different areas of the UK during the scheme

What are We Looking For: 

• Have gained or be on course for a 2:1 in a business finance or accounting degree discipline
• The role will see you work in different areas of the UK so you must be willing to relocate when needed 
• Team players - you will work in partnership with multiple teams and business units so its essential that you are willing to collaborate 
• Desire to be a qualified chartered accountant
• Clear confident communication skills
