The Role:

This role offers a recent graduate or early in career finance candidate great exposure and early responsibility in the accounts payable. You will join a busy finance team and can expect to be given early responsibility across a range of tasks including

• Preparation of invoices
• Running and assessing account queries
• Setting up new suppliers
• Daily cash runs
• Expense management
• Payment allocation

This is a great role for a grad looking to gain their first commercial experience in an accounting role. There is scope for the role to evolve and give exposure to wider areas of the finance function. 

What We Are Looking For:

We encourage applications from candidates that have studied Accounting, finance and business degrees that include exposure to:

• Fundamentals of accounting
• Financial reporting
• Balance sheet analysis and reconciliations
• Purchase and sales ledgers

You Should Also Have:

• In-depth understanding of MS Office - particularly Excel
• High levels of attention to detail
• A desire to work in a fast paced collaborative environment
• A motivation to study toward and gain accountancy qualifications
