Cameron Hume - Graduate Analyst

Who are we?

Cameron Hume specialises in providing fixed income investment management services to clients.

The rotational programme runs for three years, while you work towards a CFA Level 3. During your time with us you will contribute to the business in all aspects of investment management. This will be achieved through rotations in operations, analysis, and portfolio construction/management, while supporting sales/business development. You will work directly with senior employees in each rotation.

What you can expect

• Year-1: Support our investment and business development teams effectively, through the use of data and systems. You will gain data management (SQL Server) and trading systems (Thinkfolio, BarraOne, FXConnect, Tradeweb etc) experience.
• Year-2: Work with the analytics team to develop data analytics, modelling and visualisation. You will gain experience in a range of tools including C#, Python and R, and employ cutting edge statistical and machine learning techniques to produce robust and repeatable analysis.
• Year-3: You will work directly with the team?s senior investors to build trading and market experience. The analyst will immediately become involved in investment activity and take on responsibilities for monitoring both portfolio exposures and hedging.

Requirements

• Strong interest in financial services
• Ability to analyse problems, articulate ideas clearly, manage time effectively and action solutions efficiently
• Good level of numeracy

What can we offer you?

• A salary of £33,000 per annum with a performance related bonus
