The Role:
The role is to work in the European Capability Centre (ECC) within the finance function, supporting the team through month end activities, financial reporting, audit cycles and projects with a strong focus on innovation, working with key stakeholders both internal and external to Bristol Myers Squibb.
The Team:
The finance department supports 29 countries across European, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) providing end to end accounting support. We are a diverse team with 12 nationalities speaking 13 languages.
What Will You Learn?
You will learn the importance and execution of month end and quarter end tasks within an accounting environment. You will learn about financial reporting and be able to provide commentary on variance analysis. You will learn about projection and budgeting cycles and how they impact the wider business. You will work with external auditors, monitoring queries and providing responses where applicable.
What Do You Need To Apply?
Required: Finance, Accounting, or Maths degree; good knowledge of MS Excel; attention to detail; critical thinking; flexibility; willingness to learn.
Preferential: Foreign language or Microsoft Office Tools.
