Functional Developer - Scala or Clojure

This exciting start-up is standing 25 strong and has created a unique platform that allows for their client companies to insert their different sets of data and receive an accurate analysis of them and insights on how they can use that knowledge to their advantage.

As their product is becoming more popular by they day, they need talented individuals interested in expanding their career and growing with the company.

If you want to work in a smart-casual atmosphere but hard-working atmosphere for a company with a central London office that will allow for 3-4 days WFH post-Covid, this may role be for you!

The Role

They are looking for functional developers, ideally with experience in Clojure, who are passionate about data and working on greenfield projects.

Your responsibilities will include spending your time ensuring that their web app continues to deliver a reliable and scalable experience for clients and also build new features. You will also be building infrastructure that lasts and is the base of scalable architecture. Additionally, experience with deployments and AWS would be advantageous.

As a mid-level developer, you?ll be working closely with colleagues and mentor junior developers within the team.

Skills Required

• Experience with Clojure (or Scala and interest in learning Clojure)
• Interest in working in a start-up environment
• Hands on experience with deployments and AWS
