As a Full Stack Scala Engineer, you'll be a key player in developing cutting-edge back-end and front-end features on their innovative platform. Their mission is to identify anomalies and suspicious activities within vast volumes of data, empowering users to conduct intricate investigations into fraud and financial crime cases. You'll visualize complex networks of criminal activity, making a real impact in the world of data analysis.

On the back end, Their passionate advocates of functional and strongly typed programming using Scala. They harness the power of libraries like Cats and Shapeless, and we leverage Akka and Monix to create scalable, high-performance, and distributed services. Techniques like event sourcing and CQRS are pivotal in our persistence layer, ensuring the scalability and flexibility of our data stores.

Our front end is crafted with modern tools and frameworks, including TypeScript, Angular 6+, and ngrx. It's highly extensible and customizable, accommodating a wide range of requirements. Requirements:

We are in search of candidates who:

• Take pride in designing, building, and delivering high-quality, well-engineered solutions to complex problems.
• Possess experience in functional programming using Scala and/or familiarity with modern front-end frameworks, ideally Angular 2+.
• Have a comprehensive understanding of the entire engineering life cycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
• Exhibit a passion for constructing data-driven applications.
• Embrace a holistic approach to problem-solving, ensuring seamless integration within the broader system.

Additional Experience:

Experience in the following areas would be advantageous:

• Working across the entire software stack, encompassing server-side and batch processing components as well as front-end web development.
• Proficiency in Java and the JVM.
• A keen eye for detail, particularly regarding design and user experience.
• Familiarity with technologies and libraries such as Akka, Monix, Cats, Shapeless, Spring Boot, Elasticsearch, Gradle, Apache Spark, Hadoop, Docker, and Kubernetes.
