Associate Consultant-Cyber Risk Advisory

The Company

My client is a specialist risk consultancy who provide insight to focus resource and ensure their clients are prepared to resolve issues and crises that occur in global organisations.

They are a global company with offices in Hong Kong, America, Singapore, Germany & Dubai.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join their growing cyber risk advisory team as an associate consultant.

You will support the delivery of their cyber risk advisory engagements across the EMEA region. The successful candidate will be able to learn and upskill on a broad range of topics within cyber security.

Core tasks include:

• Delivery of client projects-supporting the delivery of the engagements including project preparation, risk and controls analysis and reporting
• Deriving, analysing and developing mitigations for information risks in a specific business scenario and threat environment
• Applying cyber risk methodologies and analysis frameworks from ISO and NIST

You will learn from and work collaboratively with experience cyber security consultants. This role enables you take on more responsibility for smaller consulting engagements over time.

This role will involve regular travel across the EMEA region (post-Covid, predominately Europe).

Essential Skills

• At least one year of cyber security industry experience (can include placement years)
• Knowledge of at least one security controls framework
• Undergraduate degree in a field related to cyber security, information security or computer science

Desired Skills

• Experience in cyber governance, risk and compliance
• Security certifications including CISMP, SSCP or ISO
• The ability to speak at least one additional European language on top of English
