Web Developer

This company is the UK's leading specialist Business, Analytical and IT consultancy; they employ over 1500 people. Their portfolio of clients covers diverse areas such as National Security and the Public Sector, through to commercial industries such as Telecommunications, Utilities and Pharmaceuticals. Their services include business consulting, software and hardware development, technical consultancy and complex data analytics work.

Working as part of the development team performing the following roles:

- Designing, developing and testing new and enhanced features
- Assisting the product test and support teams by investigating, diagnosing and fixing problems encountered with the product
- Producing internal and customer-facing documentation for the product set
- Providing guidance to external project teams on the effective use of the product.

We are looking for:

- Strong analytical and programming skills, with a 'self-starter' approach to learning and gaining a deep understanding of new technologies
- Experience and understanding of web technologies, in particular JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Experience with web frameworks are, and web MVC, spanning server-side to frontend
- Experience with data visualisations
- A good understanding of key Computer Science patterns relating to high performance processing of data
- Excellent client focus and pride in delivery
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
