The Graduate Recruitment Bureau (GRB) is a market leading graduate recruitment consultancy based in Brighton. Founded in 1996, we now employ over 60 people and turn over almost £4m. We now have an opportunity for an undergrad student to join our marketing division for an industrial placement year.

We are now hiring for our 2024 placement programme, to begin early June 2024. 

Working in the GRB Marketing Department

The marketing team is vital to our business, and consists of a marketing director, website designer, marketing manager, marketing executives as well as a team of university students working remotely as affiliates and event helpers. Through their marketing strategies they build an unrivalled pool of 100,000 new candidates a year, engaging with them to build profiles so we can get them their ideal graduate job. Your role could include:

• Email outreach to new and existing users to collect job seeking information
• Ensuring CVs are added and updated to candidate profiles
• Sending review requests and managing online reputation
• Uploading jobs to university job boards and career services
• Creating and engaging with online content across our websites and social media platforms
• Providing insight into youth marketing trends
• Assisting with innovative ideas and projects
• Organising and attending fresher fairs and careers events with the team around the UK, giving out freebies and signing up students 
• Supporting client marketing event admin for major UK and global graduate recruiters

What We're Looking For

• An undergraduate student studying a business, marketing, humanities discipline or related
• Commercially aware with exceptional interpersonal skills
• Great attention to detail - this is primarily an admin-based role and you'll be using MS Office suite regularly 
• Excellent organisational, project management and IT skills
• Confidence to approach and sign up new students at fairs, and keen to exceed targets 
• Able to interview in Brighton  
• Willing to relocate to Brighton for the placement year, or live within commutable distance
