If you're looking for a real challenge - one which requires intelligence and personality to help solve one of the country's biggest problems - then we're looking for you.
Since 2002 over 10,000 people have joined our Leadership Development Programme and gone on to become inspirational classroom leaders, or energetic advocates for change through their roles in business, the third sector and government.
Our paid programme is a two-year commitment based on global best practice and research. You will receive world-class teaching and leadership training, resulting in a fully-funded Post-Graduate Diploma in Education and Leadership (PGDE).
Throughout the two years, you will build your knowledge, skills and confidence, giving you the tools to help children from the poorest homes thrive. Developed with leading school and universities, the programme will equip you with advanced leadership skills and attributes to become an inspirational classroom leader, giving young people the chance of a better future.
It begins in June at our Summer Institute, an intensive five-week immersion into the theory and practice of teaching developed in partnership with the UK's leading teacher training universities.
Then in September you'll head into the classroom, supported by your school, regional training provider and Teach First. During your training you will gain Qualified Teacher Status, meaning you can return as a teacher at any time, wherever your career may take you.
Being part of the programme will also give you access to some of the most influential organisations and experts in the professional world - a diverse range of connections who share our commitment to ending educational inequality and value the skills and experiences gained through the programme.
Participants come from a wide and diverse range of backgrounds; some come fresh from university, others come from established careers and we support them to retrain as teachers. All have one thing in common: a commitment to breaking the link between parental income and educational success.
Our Leadership Development Programme is a career-defining opportunity that could enable you to make a difference to thousands of lives, including your own.
If you'd like to get an early offer to join the programme in 2019, make sure to submit your application before midday on Thursday 19 July. We currently have the best availability of subjects and teaching location and these will start to close as we fill our vacancies.
