They are made up of 1000 people working in over 60 markets with offices in London, Dubai, Singapore, Sydney and the US.
The Role
You will be responsible for taking ownership of maritime and energy conferences with a view to assist launching new events within the company. This is an exciting opportunity to increase your networking skills whilst enhancing your knowledge around the maritime industry.
Responsibilities include:
- Building, developing and managing relationships with clients in the market place.
- Create relevant and specific sponsorship packages for each event, ensuring that packages represent value to the client and high profit margins for the event.
- Report regularly, and accurately, on sales figures, pipelines and forecasted revenues event by event.
- Prospecting new business and maximising revenue from existing spenders including actively looking for opportunities to "up" and "cross" sell.
- Working closely with the conference producers, marketers and operations managers to ensure smooth and profitable event delivery.
What do you Need?
- Degree grade of 2:2 or equivalent in any degree discipline.
- Excellent communication skills gained through customer service roles.
- Drive to succeed.
- Extracurricular activities.
- Experience in sales or target driven environment is a bonus.
- Available ASAP.
