What type of things will I be working on?
Within the Medical Devices graduate scheme, you will develop your knowledge and technical skills in a highly regulated medical device field. You will understand how the different areas of the business interact to progress safe, innovative medical products into clinical trials and ultimately onto the market. Areas you will be working in will include:
- Research, development & clinical trials
- New product design & development
- Medical Product Manufacturing & process improvement
- Customer service and field support
- Quality processes and requirements
- Regulatory & medical standards
This scheme provides a route to a full time, senior position with progression opportunities based on skill development and personal preference. Career opportunities available could include Design, Development, Field Service or Process Engineer and Project Manager.
Where will I be working?
This role is based at our Charfield site near Wotton-under-Edge in Gloucestershire. As Renishaw is based in a semi-rural location, it is essential that applicants have their own form of transport or are willing to relocate to the local area. The site is around 25-30 minutes’ drive from Bristol so easily commutable by car.
What do I need?
Applicants must have a 2:2 or higher degree in a relevant degree in a medical field (Medical devices, Biomedical, Bio-mechanical) or a technical field (Design, Engineering, Science, Physics or Mathematics).
