A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work as a National Account Executive for a leading UK food distributor who supply to major retailers such as Asda, Waitrose, Morrison's and many more.
Job Description
Working alongside a Senior National Account Manager, you will be managing the account of one of the UK's largest grocery retailers, looking to maximise sales opportunities. Responsibilities include:
- Building and managing relationships with key decision makers within buying and category management
- Employing innovative sales solutions to deliver value and exceed targets
- Working closely with supply chain to ensure customer satisfaction
- Delivering regular sales reports internally to the management team
- Presenting business opportunities to external decision makers
- Identifying and developing new product development opportunities within your account
They pay well so salary is negotiable depending on experience. There is also a significant bonus attached to the role.
Ideal candidate:
- 2.1 equivalent or above
- 2 years + post-graduate experience or a placement year in a commercial or sales environment, ideally in FMCG
- Confident, articulate individual with a can do attitude and a genuine interest in food
- Proven track record of success from a non-academic background
- Excellent levels of communication including rapport building and the ability to persuade
- Driving licence
- Live within a commutable distance of Redhill or happy to relocate
